Public Local Inquiry
The Public Inquiry into the application for the proposed windfarm has now commenced.
Dates and venue
The Public Inquiry started on 15 May 2006 and is expected to take no longer than 3 weeks.
Meetings commence at 09:30 each day and continue until about 17:00 depending on progress or a convenient point to stop.
The Inquiry is being held in the Huntly Hotel, The Square, Huntly.
Programme
Presentations have started with the applicant, AMEC Wind Ltd., who are calling 9 witnesses. It will continue with the main opponents, the River Deveron Trust, followed by 11 or 12 third party speakers.
The Reporter will be making a site visit before the finish of the Inquiry but the date has yet to be announced.
